While preparing their research, all researchers should concern the following requirements:

 

1. The academic research should meet the journal’s concerns in the humanitarian and relief field which are:

A.  Humanitarian aid sectors:

- Health

- Food security

- Shelter and non-food items

- Water and environmental sanitation

- Early recovery

- Education

- Support and coordination of humanitarian operations

- Logistics

- Emergency telecommunications

- Nutrition

- Protection

- Volunteer programs

 

B.  Study and analysis of disasters and crises.

C.  Innovation and change in the ethical and humanitarian practices in relief, and the way in which assistance is provided.

D.  Practices, challenges, and efforts of providing humanitarian aid and relief.

E.  Social and psychological studies related to workers and those affected (employees - relief workers - beneficiaries), as well as programs and projects in this field.

F.  Making policies and decisions related to humanitarian and relief work within governments and international organizations.

2. The academic study should not exceed 7000 words, and the professional practice should not be more than 3,500 words.

3. The academic study should not have been published or submitted to any other party.

4. The academic study should be presented in a PDF format, with an abstract and CV of the researcher included. When it is approved for publication, the study copy should be sent in a Word file format. If illustrations are attached, they must be of high accuracy.

5. The study should fulfill the academic documentation standards.

6. The research documentation notes should be collected separately at the end of the research.

7. All of the researcher’s references should be mentioned according to the American documentation system (APA) which is approved by the journal, with its bibliographic database right after the documentation notes at the end of the study.
